Bruno started, like all the French, to love food when he was still a small boy growing up in France. When friends left France for their studies, he wanted to go to Ireland, to learn English and work in a French restaurant in Dublin in the mid ‘90s. After moving up in the ranks and working at different restaurants in Ireland and France, he decided to open as General Manager and Partner the Watercress Restaurant in San Francisco in 2005.
In 2008 cofounded Le Garage in Sausalito, CA, which has received numerous accolades and mentions in the press since then. Glowing reviews were, and still are, written about the excellent food, including his famous mussel dishes.
The restaurant also received a highly regarded Bib Gourmand designation from Michelin in 2016 as part of a list of 75 restaurants in the Bay Area that offer excellent food at a reasonable price.
Now filled with his experience and seeing the demand for the Mussels Mariniere as well as the Mussels Provençale signature dishes offered at Le Garage, Bruno wishes to develop and diversify this dish by offering a menu solely focusing on mussels.
